Max Payne is a 2001 third-person action video game developed by Remedy set in New York with a neo noir theme, featuring a story told between levels in the medium of a graphic novel. This already incredibly cinematic experience that boils down to "What if John Woo made a Neo-Noir John Wick movie?" probably could make a great movie, right? Right?

Unfortunately for us, it's a 2000s video game movie and it has Mark Wahlberhg in it.  That's right, the famous Transformers star and 9/11 hero fantasy haver himself delivering a performance that can only be described as...present? Here's there. Here's sure in the movie. I don't know what he's doing, but he sure is there. Join us for the one that finally turned us insane, a movie that can't commit to a single identity, barely resembling its original source material and so shit that we just want to talk about anything else.
