Oh my God, this movie is just awful. It's bad. It's really bad. It's really quite bad. I think it's about a twink driver who needs to learn about the power of driving deep within him, but I also think it's about Rocky Balboa needing to get over his crushing defeat with Clubber Lang (car).
It's also about how evil women are. Evil, evil, evil women that exist slowly just to ruin your life and turn you into an Indycar magic missile, am I right fellas? I think it's also about Rocky Balboa accepting his homosexuality or something.Listen, I don't know. There were like 25 different scripts for this movie before it was finalised and it sure feels like you're watching 25 different movies with how impossible to follow any of this are. Man, what a downer show. What if they made it again? Oh, they did? That's right, Hideki Anno went to therapy and decided to make the show again, this time as a series of movies. This is the first of the "Rebuild" movies, that mostly covers the same content as the first few episodes of the show. There's dysfunctional hot ladies, dysfunctional nasty dads, dysfunctional teenagers, and a bunch of fan service of questionably aged characters. Would it be anime if there wasn't?
